Welcome to our train travel and adventure page! We’re a couple of recent empty nesters from the gorgeous Pacific Northwest, and we’re making the most of our newfound free time by exploring as much of this beautiful planet as possible. After 22 years of family trips with our kids, who are now off at college, we’re diving into new adventures together. And guess what? Train travel has stolen our hearts!

We both have hectic full-time jobs—Chris works as a police officer, and Noelle is a social worker. When we finally get a break from our high-pressure jobs, we want to unwind and enjoy our travels. We’ve always loved hitting the road for trips because it’s such a great way to soak in the scenery. But let’s be honest: the downside is that one of us has to stay focused on driving and dealing with traffic.

That’s where train travel comes in! We’ve found that it lets us sit back, relax, and take in all the views without the stress of navigating. The train crew takes care of everything, from snacks to meals, making us feel right at home until we reach our destination. Over the last few years, we’ve researched train routes, booking tips, and ways to make our journeys even better. We’re excited to share what we’ve learned and hopefully inspire others to fall in love with train travel, too!

What can you expect from us? We aim to keep things real by sharing both the ups and downs of our travel experiences.
